    SiteWise, a utility construction company, is looking for it's next go-getter! We currently have the opportunity to bring on a new HR Generalist to join the Human Resources team. This person does well with change, is flexible, is excited to wear many hats and has the experience to mentor others. This person naturally reflects the core values at SiteWise, otherwise known as, TRAITS.



    • Manage the recruiting process to include job postings, reviewing resumes, performing telephone interviews, reference checks, offers of employment and rescinded offers. Creates promotional material to aid in recruiting.
    • Creates and modifies social media platforms to increase applicant flow and banding of SiteWise.
    • Acts as the lead administrator for all Peak companies and is responsible for maintaining processes and procedures for applicant tracking system updates and reporting, management requisition, aging reports, and coordinating to develop viable candidate pools to meet business needs. Trains other in the usage of the applicant tracking system.
    • Develops and established relationships with external partners to further the SiteWise applicant pool. Attends conferences and makes recommendations to leadership about The SiteWise brand.
    • Assists employees, supervisors, and department heads to settle work-related conflicts through advice and recommendation.
    • Advises on employee relations issues to include employee concerns, performance management, discipline and termination. Escalates matter when appropriate.
    • Promotes partnerships with all employees and the leadership team to foster a positive work experience to all employees.
    • Administration of employee records systems to include compensation, performance management, DOT compliance, CDL regulation, issued equipment and assets and other employee records to include personnel files.
    • Administers and coordinates benefits and leaves of absences policies and practices. Answers employee questions and inquiries.
    • Contributes to monthly reporting and company audits.
    • Conducts exit interviews with staff to determine if corrective action may retain valued staff. Communicates inconsistencies to leadership.
    • Serve as backup to HR Business Partner and the HR team in absences.
    • Coordinates and assists with special events for staff by coordinating committees and schedules.
    • Performs other duties as necessary to facilitate the success of the business.


    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent specific human resource experience, comprised of, minimum 3 years of high volume recruiting, min. 1 year employee relations and 1 yr benefit experience, to be 4 years of overall experience in HR. 
    • Ability to become HR certified within 2 years.
    • Preferred but not required Bi-lingual Spanish. 
    • Preferred HR certification (SHRM/HRCI/CP/PHR). 


    Knowledge and Skills

    • High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation.
    • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
    • Excellent organizational skills.
    • High level user with Microsoft Office applications, Applicant Tracking Applications, HRIS and Social Media accounts.
    • Knowledge of HR best practices.
    • Ability to partner with employees and leadership.
    • Knowledge or experience in the construction industry is valued.
    • Knowledge of Department of Transportation Compliance and Regulations.
